November 19, 1996
Hope looked beautiful and the church was filled with friends and family
who had gathered to see Bo and Hope's love renewed. Unfortunately, Bo's
preoccupation with the mysterious Salem newcomer, Franco Kelly, set him
off on a mission. Bo was convinced that Franco is a killer, and the man
who assaulted at least one Salem woman. So when Bo followed Franco to Horton
Island, he really was thinking only of Billie Reed's safety. However, Franco
was being paid by a secret boss to keep Bo and Hope apart. On the wedding
day, Hope discovered an unclothed Bo and Billy together in bed at the Horton
cabin. Mishaps with the boat, radio and the absence of neighbors had stranded
Bo on the island. Bo was determined to get back to Salem and tried to swim
the river to get back for the wedding, but it was impossible. Afterward,
cold, wet and exhausted, he fell asleep. When Hope found him, she called
off the wedding because of Bo's continued interest in Billie. Hope felt
he was more than just being protective towards Billie. She also felt Bo's
fixation on proving Franco a dangerous man was unreasonable.
